‘The Beginnings of the Bald Biker!’ Dave Myers appears for the first time since chemotherapy treatment | Celebrity News | Showbiz and television

Hairy Bikers star Dave Myers, 64, has been seen for the first time since receiving chemotherapy. The chef confirmed he was diagnosed with cancer earlier this month, but he chose not to reveal his specific diagnosis.

In a new video shared on Friday, Dave seemed in good spirits as he appeared on Zoom to record an episode of the Agony Uncles podcast alongside co-stars Si King and Tasha Hall.

Dave debuted his new bald head and had a big grin on his face for the duration of the clip, which was captioned, “Bald Biker’s Debut (Getting Scolded By Wife).”

In true Hairy Bikers style, Dave told a cheeky anecdote about a ski trip.

He laughed: “Years ago I went skiing in Switzerland.

“I used to stay in a dorm so it was ski fancy, but it was cheap.”

Dave lowered his voice and chuckled, “And, uh, I ended up with a German policewoman.

“She was a strong woman.”

Before Dave could finish his sentence, his wife Liliana could be heard in the background shouting, “I heard that!”

Karen said: “It’s great to see you Dave and that your wife is still scolding you. Take care of yourself and plenty for a full recovery.

And Lisa gushed, “You rock the bald look Dave! Go on, you have this. I love you, you and your loved ones and of course Si.

Dave opened up about his health issues in a separate episode of the podcast earlier in May.

He confirmed that he would receive chemotherapy but maintained that he “will be fine”.

He told Si, “I might be a bald biker for a while…it’s just something I have to live with.

“Anyway Kingy I have to tell the truth now I haven’t been too good lately and basically I have to do chemo you know all that anyway so this year is gonna be a a little quiet for me.”

Although he doesn’t want to go public with his illness, Dave said he had to speak up because he didn’t want to hide “under a rock”.

He then asked fans to “respect [his] private life” and assured them that his “prognosis is good”.
