The sale of Tetrag to swenex, a global solutions provider for energy control, marks a further step in the realization of Implenia’s strategy of focusing on its core business.
Dietlikon, July 1, 2021 – Implenia will focus in the future on integrated construction and real estate services in Switzerland and Germany. In other markets, it will supply tunnels and associated infrastructure projects. Therefore, Implenia sells areas that are outside of its core business.
Tetrag, a provider of complete energy monitoring solutions with several well-established relationships with large customers, is sold to swenex – Swiss energy exchange Ltd in Kriens. swenex expands its portfolio with the acquisition of Tetrag and simultaneously achieves synergies on the customer side. swenex is hiring Tetrag employees, who will thus benefit from attractive development opportunities. Tetrag will remain a company and will grow in the future as part of a common strategy.
swenex, which does not depend on any utility company, producer or network operator, is one of the leading Swiss providers of global energy management solutions (energy supply, energy data management and billing).
The acquisition was finalized yesterday and swenex is taking operational responsibility for the company with immediate effect.
